INJECT was created to "augment the creative capabilities of journalists, to discover and examine information sources more quickly". Based on the journal article "Digital Creativity Support for Original Journalism", The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) interviewed Neil Maiden, professor of Digital Creativity at City, University of London about the digital tool.
