Description
As part of the Building Digital Literacy project, members of the research team created video reflections to explore their personal experiences with the project. Jessica Campbell from the University of Central Florida discusses the ambiguous definition of digital literacy and frames it as a "toolbox of multi-literacies". She believes that threshold concepts are very valuable for instructors and that "putting students in positions where they have to assess the situation, analyze their audience, and know the purpose of their communication, stimulates students to problem solve, prototype, and evaluate the potential of different outcomes".
