Description
This video was taken at Kia's booth at CES 2019 where they showcased an experiential demo of their integration with Affectiva's Emotion AI technology. Affectiva was developed by MIT Media Lab's Affective Computing Group.

The "R.E.A.D" system, which stands for "Real-Time Emotion Adaptive Driving", aims to provide "an optimal driving experience by empathizing with your mood". First, the R.E.A.D. system assesses your mood based on your facial expressions, then adjusts the video display to match this emotion. It also incorporates vibrations, sounds, and lighting.
