Description
The inventor of Jia Jia, also known as "Robot Goddess", Chen Xiaoping is leading a new ethics committee whose aim is to establish ethical guidelines for China's use of artificial intelligence. The Chinese Association for Artifical Intelligence not only includes industry experts and researchers who focus on artificial intelligence but has also included sociologists and legal studies researchers to their team as well. The interest around establishing this ethics board comes after the ethical violations from the gene-edited twins project which was conducted by He Jiankui in late 2018.
