Description
Google demos a new AR game called Light Board in which players strategically "shoot" each other with colored lights to fill up their opponent's board. What's different about this game, however, is that both Android and iOS users can play the game with each other. The game uses "Cloud Anchors" as a shared point for both devices to use to interact with each other. This marks Google's first step to what they hope will be a ubiquitous cross-platform augmented reality, making the medium truly accessible to all users, regardless of device.
