Grace the humanoid robot is being used as part of a study carried out by Montreal's Jewish General Hospital in order to help alleviate seniors' isolation.
As part of a study conducted by Montreal's Jewish General Hospital, Grace the humanoid robot is being used to help alleviate seniors' isolation in the long-term care facility Résidence Pearl & Theo. Theodora Montoute, co-owner of the residence, explains that since caregivers are busy all day and residents are not, Grace would be able to help address this gap.
Dr. Paola Lavin from the Jewish General Hospital explains that healthcare workers and staff are currently "overburdened with so many different clinical duties and physical support, that Grace could be an addition". Keywords
