"Mark Zuckerberg is showing off a new device that promises to pave the way for his VR-powered metaverse: a haptic glove that can let you feel virtual objects.

The glove looks like it belongs to a cyborg. It's fitted with hundreds of actuators, or tiny motors, that can deliver the sensation of touch across your hand. It can also lock your fingers into a certain position—if you grab a ball or touch a hard surface in a VR world, for example."

Seattle-based company HaptX accused Meta of copying their patented design.
