Using the microphone array in her head, Misty can localize the source of sound. This means that she can turn around and look at a person as they are talking to her. One developer has built a skill that enables Misty to interact with someone after they get her attention. He programmed her to turn around, move towards the person, respond to touch, and take a photograph of the scene. He used Microsoft Azure's cognitive services, a third-party API, in order to process the images and gather data about the objects detected. Misty was then able to vocalize what was being seen.
