Burgers grown in a lab are heading to your plate. Will you bite?
Publication/Creation Date

Cultured meat is type of meat that does not come directly from animals, but comes from cell cultures. This process involves growing a live animal's adult muscle stem cells in a nutrient-rich liquid which can result in multiplying to further make more burgers without collecting more cells from an animal. They grow around a scaffold to help the meat take on its desired shape. This results in a product that isn't plant-based because it looks and tastes like meat and is essentially still made from an animal. Cultured meat wouldn't involve livestock and would get rid of enviornmental impacts the meat industry has.Source
